Rust Workshop this Friday (11/9/18)
A Rust workshop by Ryan Slawson has been scheduled for this Friday, November 9th, 2018 from 6 PM to 9 PM in LL 114. (The LL (Language & Literature) building is just west of Old Main.)
As the Rust website puts it, “Rust is a systems programming language that runs blazingly fast, prevents segfaults, and guarantees thread safety.” I’ve done some programming in it myself, and it’s definitely a very fascinating language with a lot of unique concepts and paradigms. Come learn about it at the workshop by building a project using a “Rust-y” solution!
Please note that this workshop is not officially endorsed or run by the Rust project or Mozilla.
