Linux Security Essentials Seminar

Learn Backtrack, Kali (and pick up a copy) and other distros that were meant for pentesting. We’re going to explore some well known stock programs such as metasploit that give you access to things you weren’t meant to have access to, we’ll teach you about the CLI and some basic rules to follow in order to penetrate successfully.

We’ll also teach you how to use protection. ( http://i.imgur.com/2mRbao7.jpg )

WHEN: 9/21 at 1:00

WHY: Because you can’t hack the planet yet

WHAT TO BRING: Your compy386, and preferably either Kali or Backtrack installed, if not, please make sure you have a VM program on your computer

FOOD?: Yes, Pizza and cupcakes

RSVP using this thread or orgsync so I know how many cupcakes to bake. This is a INTRODUCTORY TALK so don’t expect to be able to get into your crush’s hotmail account just yet, we will cover that over the course of the month.

I’m excited to see everyone there!
