Do you want software that works the way it’s supposed to?

Are you tired of Windows crashing, or Apple software getting in your way?

Are you tired of your software assuming you’re a criminal before you’ve even opened up your browser?

Are you already familiar with FOSS (Free Open Source Software), but want to do more?

Then the InstallFest is for you!

We’ve taken over BAC 311, 313, and 323, and we’re planning on packing the event to the gills. Presentations, MAME box tournaments, install help, hack projects, anything and everything related to promoting and supporting FOSS.

We’re always open for presentations, at all target skill levels. Anything from beginner level material to help new users hit the ground running to the finer points of proper engineering, administration, or security management. If you’ve got something to contribute — even if it’s out of left field — we want to hear it!

Show up, try something new, hack on a project, or just mingle and meet cool people. It’s going to be a blast!

BAC is located here: http://www.asu.edu/map/interactive/?campus=tempe&building=BAC
